Liked it, yeah it may be a bit pricey but good fun all the same.

Playing with randoms brings back the team-work aspect that really sells BF to me

Good games last night, quite like this new mode. A bit disappointing that it's all scripted.
Would have much preferred some new MP maps though.

I really enjoyed it too. It would have been better if the enemies had more random spawns, but i did enjoy the challenge none-the-less! I look forward to cranking up the difficulty later on! hehe

Rumours on Kotaku that there are new free maps today. Can anyone check?

"the new pack doesn't actually add any new features or maps, but it does add the Rush game mode to the White Pass map and Conquest to Nelson Bay."

EA's put out a vague period for the release of the next Battlefield Bad Company 2 DLC - and it's a big'un.

Titled 'Vietnam', the expansion pack will be arriving in Winter 2010. The release info was accompanied by a pretty short and uniformative trailer, which you can see below.

And for info we could very well have a Map Packs 6 and 7 at some point since those below still have the following 'missing' modes:

Panama Canal - Rush
Islas Innocentes - Conquest (not sure this would work that great though)
Valparaiso - Conquest
Laguna Alta - Rush
